To upgrade SQL Server from Express edition to a different edition of the same version follow the steps:
- Insert the SQL Server installation media of the new edition you want upgrade to. From the root folder, double-click Setup.exe.
- SQL Server Installation Center click Maintenance, and then select Edition Upgrade.
